Day 1: Depart from Canada
Depart from Calgary, Alberta, and begin your journey across the Pacific to the dynamic city of Hong Kong.
Day 2: Markets and Local Energy
Begin your Hong Kong adventure with a delicious dim sum breakfast. Explore the vibrant Ladies Market in Mongkok, a bustling street market filled with souvenirs, fashion, and local charm. Continue to Tsim Sha Tsui to visit 1881 Heritage and the K11 Musea, blending colonial architecture with modern design. In the evening, stroll through the lively Temple Street Night Market before ending your day with a scenic ferry ride across Victoria Harbour.
Day 3: Heritage
Today, head to Lantau Island. Discover the charm of Tai O, a traditional fishing village with stilt houses and seafood delicacies. Visit the iconic Tian Tan “Big Buddha” and enjoy panoramic views via the Ngong Ping 360 cable car. In the evening, ascend to Victoria Peak by the historic tram for stunning night views of the city skyline.
Day 4: Head to Seoul
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and board your flight to Seoul, South Korea. After arrival, unwind and rejuvenate at a luxurious Jimjilbang (Korean spa experience), where you can relax like a local.
Day 5: Nami Island
Escape the city today and head to the picturesque Nami Island, known for its tree-lined pathways and scenic beauty. Optional activities include cycling, rail biking, or even zip-lining across the river. Continue to Petite France, a French-themed cultural village with whimsical architecture and romantic flair. Return to Seoul and enjoy night shopping in the youthful and artistic district of Hongdae.
Day 6: Culture and Chill
This morning, explore Bukchon Hanok Village, a neighborhood of traditional Korean houses. Sip tea at a historic teahouse in Insadong and enjoy the artistic atmosphere of its galleries and craft shops. In the afternoon, stroll along the Cheonggyecheon Stream, a restored urban oasis in downtown Seoul. Cap off the day with a breathtaking panoramic view of the city from Namsan Tower at night.
Day 7: Royal to Trendy
Wear a hanbok (traditional Korean attire) and visit the majestic Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest and most beautiful of Seoul’s five palaces. Continue your journey with shopping in Seongsu-dong, a trendy neighborhood filled with designer boutiques and cafés. Relax at Han River Park, a favorite local hangout for sunset views and people-watching.
Day 8: Depart from Seoul
On your final day, savor local street food at Gwangjang Market, one of Seoul’s oldest traditional markets. Enjoy last-minute shopping at Hyundai Premium Outlet in Songdo before heading to the airport to catch your return flight to Canada.
